Practice Over Perfect

Driven. Ambitious. Perfectionist. These are three words I used to describe myself to others three years ago. They were a lie….sort of.

Three years ago, I was a Regional Leasing and Training Director. I helped manage 110 employees and was in charge of over 30 student housing marketing platforms. My passion was helping make the management journey easier for others.

I worked extremely hard to work my way up the corporate ladder and loved my job…at least that’s what I told people. Even though the face I presented to the outside world was one of a driven, ambitious, fierce, perfectionist, those words didn’t reflect how I felt on the inside.

Those words were simply that, words – a brave face, a façade…I was really my own toughest critic, feeling over-whelmed, over-worked, and out of balance. I knew I needed to make a change in my life.

I needed to focus on the things that made me happy & become the best version of myself, someone who could look in the mirror and have an identity outside of work. That’s when I decided to switch gears and wanted to focus on helping others in a different way.

Now I get to use those organization and problem-solving skills that helped me thrive in the corporate world to help other people find the best versions of themselves! Starting with you!

Kate’s About

Organizing

Our physical environment has an impact on our overall mental health and wellness. I’ve found, sometimes shifting our mindset allows us to organize not only our environment but our thoughts and plans as well.

Assisting others as they gain that clarity and change perspectives is what encourages me to help others live a more organized life!

Coaching

I’m on a mission to recreate the narrative around failures, the way we frame them, and how we can move forward wiser in the process.

I’m reaching for my passions by supporting others as they break through barriers, achieve progress over perfection, embrace change, and accept themselves.

Gathering

Whether it’s coming together for book club, dinners, holidays, or retreats they’re always gatherings that create enjoyable memories.

Those cherished moments can provide us with the refresh, recharge, self-care, or reflection that we need to feed the soul.

Creating a Life That’s Rooted With

Wellness

Having quality wellness habits and routines isn’t all about physical wellness. When we implement intentional changes to improve our environmental, emotional, and social wellness which comes in many forms, progress follows.

Especially when creating individual plans that support and align with our goals, improving our chances for success.

Family

Having a support system to encourage us as we explore possibilities, gather resources, and create our journey is a key element to accomplishing our dreams.

Finding our support system in family, friends, coworkers, and communities makes the journey more fulfilling!

Food & Travel

Travel, whether it’s alone or with a group can provide us with inspiration, relaxation, new experiences, different perspectives, chances to reset, and so much more to be appreciated.

While food is a great way to gather with friends or family, get to know a location, and if we’re lucky experience different cultures.
