Wait, is there a difference between organizing and cleaning a space?

Raise your hand if you’re a fellow neat pile creator 🙋‍♀️ If you’re looking around seeing clutter and feeling overwhelmed by the chaotic environment organizing the space by creating/returning items to their home can help. There are typically four reasons clients call me in to help and support them with organing a space(s)

  1. Sometimes, creating an organized space can be difficult deciding where to start or an area to focus on.

  2. Occasionally, the amount of items or sentimental pieces in a space can be an overwhelming experience.

  3. Other times it can be mentally taxing, tough to go through the process, set up a system or tools to keep it organized, and make those necessary decisions.

  4. Most often there isn’t enough time, there are too many other priorities to juggle, and it’s not feasible to tackle it alone while maintaining balance.

So, before you download my free plan to get your house deep cleaned ask yourself why it’s important to accomplish getting a space organized?!?! Remember there’s no wrong answer but writing down our reasoning can help when a space gets tough and thoughts of giving up come [trust me they’ll likely come] it’s nice to have a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place.

It’s suggested to read through the entire plan before printing or beginning these projects. There are even more tips and notes from Kate that are helpful to know before successfully accomplishing the deep house clean you’ve been dreaming of.

My number one tip for keeping a space organized and tidy is cleaning up after ourselves as we go. It may seem like it takes more time at the moment but we’re already currently in the space, it’ll help avoid any long overwhelming cleaning sessions, and in the long run, I promise it’ll actually save you time!

My number one tip for cleaning a space is always to clean the room from top to bottom. This will help avoid having to clean things more than once, otherwise, there’s a risk of wiping dirt/dust down onto surfaces that have just been cleaned

[Pro-Tip: There will always be a never-ending pile of laundry if we wash, dry, and fold at least one load a day it’ll help ensure piles don’t get too large or overwhelming]
